About edu.docs
The edu.docs section of edumeres is one of the central modules of Edumeres, the information platform for international textbook research, where open access publications (initial release and secondary publication) issued by the Georg Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research are freely available. There are currently 170 freely-accessible academic publications available on edu.docs, published under the editorial control of the Georg Eckert Institute. Users are also able to access, through our repository, a wide range of open-access publications from the field of educational media research. The available material is targeted at academics and is designed to be part of a wider research infrastructure providing unlimited and free access to quality-controlled academic information in line with recommendations made by the ‘Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities’, the ‘Guidelines for Open Access in the Leibniz Association’ and the Georg Eckert Institute’s ‘Open Access Policy’. If you would like to publish in one of our academic series, or if you have suggestions for how to improve and further develop our services, please contact the edu.docs team by email at edu.docs[at]gei.de.
